ESOL Endorsement

Commencing in July, 1999, students who complete the degree programs, which include two ESOL specific courses, through one of the three State approved certification programs (Elementary, Exceptional Student Education or Pre-Kindergarten/Primary) will receive a State of Florida approved ESOL Endorsement in addition to their degree.

ESOL Endorsement enables students to teach children who are non-English speaking.
