Andres Lopez
Andres Lopez
Assistant Coach

Andres Lopez comes back to the Buccaneers as a member of the coaching staff following a six-year absence, after earning his bachelor’s in sport management in 2001. Lopez was a four-year letterman from 1997-2000, helping the Bucs make the NCAA National Finals in 1999 and 2000 as the host.

After playing his freshman year under Herb Dunning, he started the first four games of his sophomore year under rookie coach Steve McCrath, helping to lead the Bucs to their first NCAA Tournament berth since 1985.

As a junior, he made a career-high eight starts and ranked third on the team with five goals. As a senior, he led the team with nine assists, coming off the bench all but four games, as Barry advanced to the national title game against CSUDH.

Lopez is pursuing his master’s in human resource administration at Barry.
