Kevin
Lamy enters his second season on
the men’s soccer staff after
spending the 2005 season helping coach the women. He was a four-year
standout with the Barry men’s side. He began his career as
a winger, playing in 35 games and starting 19. His last two seasons,
he shifted back to defense and helped lead the Bucs to a 1.18 goals
against average over two seasons. He helped the Bucs post one of
the best seasons in school history with nine shutouts and a 0.75
goals against average as a junior.
For his career, he contributed three goals, including the game-winner
against Lenoir-Rhyne as a sophomore, and seven assists.
A native of Trinidad, he led Honved F.C. to the East Zone U-20 league
championship in 1997 and the 1999 University of the West Indies Super
League championship title.
He graduated from Barry with
a bachelor’s degree in sport management
in 2004 and is currently working on his master’s degree.
