the players and coaches of the soccer team and especially to the parents
of Mike Mikulin.
Just
to let you all know that during the NCAA National Championship my
son "Piri" played
inspired golf. I did not know the reason for this until the last hole,
where he made the last putt to win the championship.
As soon as we finished hugging for what I thought to be an eternity..he
went to his bag and showed me a picture of Mike. He mentioned that Mike
was with him throughout the round and he felt him as he made the last putt
and looked up to the heavens...I hope that the memory of Mike inspires
all of you to be the best that you can be throughout your
lives.

Message: I wanted to take this opportunity to extend my sincerest gratitude
and appreciation to Coach McCrath, and the rest of the Men's Soccer team
for their attendance and support at Mikey's funeral services. You will
never know what it meant to our family to have you all there. I was mixed
with so many emotions during those two days, but seeing all of you line
the steps of the church in your white uniforms while we carried Mikey into
church, was an emotion I never thought I had in me. To see the emotion
and love in all of your eyes made me realize how much Mikey meant to you,
and how you all were like his brothers. It made me think that we all share
the same sentiment, that Mikey touched us all in his own unique way. Please
continue to keep Mikey in your hearts, and continue to pray for all of
us back here in Cleveland, especially Patti, Paul, and Matt. I will wear
my Barry University shirts and hat with even more pride now, having the
pleasure to meet all of you last week. Mikey was definitely a unique kid,
and his smile was infectious. We now all have our guardian angel up there
smiling away and watching over us, and wearing #22. Thanks again. God Bless.
