Senior Geralyn Elam went 2-0 on the mound over the weekend pitching a pair of complete game shutouts including her fourth career perfect game in an 8-0 win over Eckerd College on Sunday to earn Female Buccaneer of the Week for Apr. 7. In twelve innings pitched she struck out twenty-two while walking just one and held opponents to just five hits.

Junior Gerold Wiring is the Male Buccaneer of the Week after he posted a combined 4-2 record in matches against Armstrong Atlantic, Ouachita Baptist and Drury at the West Florida Tournament. Wiring was a perfect 3-0 in singles play and picked his fourth victory of the weekend in doubles action against Armstrong Atlantic.
