Conny Grunes won her second straight tournament, this time the ITA Southeast Regional over the weekend at Rollins. She swept through the field, losing only one set in her four matches. She defeated the defending regional champ, Kristina Triska, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 in the semifinals and then walked over Rollins' Vanessa Caddick in the finalsto advance to the ITA Nationals in Corpus Christi, Texas, Oct. 16-19.

Thomas Hipp reached the finals of singles at the ITA Southeast Regional and combined with partner Gerold Wiring to win the doubles. Hipp lost only 10 games in reaching the finals. Hipp and Wiring beat Lynn's top team to advance to the ITA Nationals in Corpus Christi, Texas, Oct. 16-19.
