Nesbit led the Bucs to a 68-48 win over Eckerd which preserved Barry's hold on second-place in the Sunshine State Conference. She keyed an 18-0 run which blew open a close game with four points, two steals and an assist.

Thomas Hipp led the Buccaneers to a 3-0 week, beating #12 Florida Gulf Coast 5-2 and #21 Eckerd 8-1and also defeating #4-NAIA ranked Embry-Riddle 5-1. He avenged a fall loss to FGCU's Richard Stempnowski with a 6-4, 6-1 straight set win over the #7-ranked player in NCAA Division II. He also defeated Eckerd's Sebastian Niedermayer and teamed with Dirk Benninghaus to win all three of their doubles matches.
