Junior
F Emelie Karlsson took her first steps toward her third
straight Sunshine State Conference Player of the Year
award with four goals and an assist in two games against
conference foes last week. She scored twice, including
the game-winner in overtime as Barry defeated Tampa
2-1 to run its SSC win streak to 40 games. She also
knocked home the game-winner and another goal in a
5-0 win over Eckerd that doesn't count in the conference
standings. She had her first assist against the Tritons
as well.

Freshman
D Selvin Davis scored the game-winning goal in double-overtime
to lift the Bucs to a 3-2 win over the Tampa Spartans
and a 1-0 start to the Sunshine State Conference season
for Barry. The goal was his first as a collegian.
