Emelie Karlsson had a hand in each of the Bucs game winning goals as the Barry women’s soccer team went 3-0 on the week. She started the week with two goals and three assists against Florida Tech. Against St. Edwards, she dished out the game-winning assist to Tiina Saario in overtime to give Barry a 2-1 win. She capped off the week scoring the game-winning goal against the 16th-ranked Texas A&M Commerce Lions. Karlsson finished the week in three games averaging 1 goal per game, 1.33 assist per game, and 3.33 points per game.

In the Bucs 3-1 win over conference foe Florida Tech, Ricardo Raposo had a foot in all three of Barry’s goals. After a scoreless first half, the Panthers took a 1-0 lead, but Raposo fed Mahlon Sullivan the ball for the assist on the game tying goal. Raposo then scored the game winner in the 82nd minute (the 9th game-winner of his career and seventh this season) to give the Bucs a 2-1 advantage late in the game. Finally, to give Barry breathing room, Raposo fed Lee Yakubowich the game clincher in the 90th minute for his second assist of the game.
