Trotman picked up three singles wins, two over ranked
opponents,
to help Barry
to a 2-1 week
over three teams ranked in the ITA top-10. Trotman’s
biggest win came over the sixth-ranked Dziyana Nazaruk
6-4, -6-4 of second-ranked Armstrong Atlantic. She
also teamed with Ildiko Csordas in doubles against #9
North Florida to defeated the 19th-ranked Ospreys doubles
team (Liliana Hung and Julie Stoppelli) 8-2. |

Thomas
Hipp posted three consecutive wins over ranked singles
opponents including a three-set upset win over NAIA
second-ranked Costin Corneanu of Embry Riddle 4-6,
6-4, 6-3. He is now 6-0 in singles this week. He also
teamed with Barry’s Patrick Rittenauer for the
first time this season and picked up an 8-4 win over
the 16th-ranked team of Leonardo Gomes and German Escallon
of North Florida. His performance helped Barry to three
consecutive wins this week over top-10 ranked opponents.
