Came up big for the Bucs during the NCAA South Regional last season ... Expected to be the Bucs’ defensive staple in the middle infield.

JUNIOR (2007): One of only four players to start all 63 games for the Bucs last season ... Led the team with a .400 batting average at the NCAA Regional tournament ... Recorded career-highs in games played, runs scored, hits, doubles, and RBI ... Second on the team with 135 defensive assists, which ranked fourth in the Sunshine State Conference.

SOPHOMORE (2006): Played in 41 games with 33 starts ... Was five of six in stolen bases ... Added five hits and 13 runs scored ... Defensively, recorded 49 putouts and 59 assists in the Bucs’ middle infield.

FRESHMAN (2005): Played in 30 games with six starts ... Batted .226 with seven hits, three RBI, and four runs scored in 31 at bats ... Tallied seven total bases and registered a .351 on-base perentage ... Made seven appearances in the pitching circle ... Posted a 3.43 ERA in 16.1 innings pitched ... Held opponents to a .230 batting average and struck out eight ... Contributed to a combined shutout against St. Thomas on Apr. 27.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered four seasons under coach Denise Pressey, a former Buccaneer, at Southridge High ... Broke the Southridge school record for runs scored ... Earned the Brian Perantoni Memorial Award ... Was tabbed the Spartans’ MVP ... Posted a .375 batting average with three home runs, 12 doubles, and 15 RBI as a senior ... Stole 15 bases in her final season ... Notched a 2-4 record with 39 innings in the circle in 2004 ... Recorded two saves and 35 strikeouts ... Also an outstanding student, Perantoni earned the Tekerman Spirit Award ... Honored as Southridge High School’s Outstanding senior student ... Received the Silver Knight Award.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Georgia Perantoni and the late Brian Perantoni, Sr. ... Has two brothers, Brian Jr. and Scott, and two sisters, Cindi and Kim ... Majoring in biology ... Sister Cindi also played for the Bucs from 1998-2001 earning All-SSC honors in 1999 and 2000.
