Accreditation

The Barry University School of Social Work received a perfect accreditation score for both our BSW program and our MSW program (reaccreditation) from the Council on Social Work Education during our last accreditation review. These outstanding credentials are yet another reason for selecting Barry University School of Social Work for your social work education! The MSW program was reaccredited July 2003 through June 2011.

The Barry School of Social Work's perfect accreditation places it in the top 10% of all schools of social work nationally! Accreditation standards are set by the Council on Social Work Education to establish national standards and ensure high quality professional social work education at both the undergraduate and graduate level.

The University is also accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia, 30033-4097: Telephone number 404-679-4501) to award bachelor's, master's, specialist and doctoral degrees.
