I hail from Miami, Florida.  After working for a number of years in the criminal justice field, I decided to further my education. I obtained my undergraduate degree in psychology and then came to Barry to pursue my degree in Social Work. 

I got the most out of my field practice, and the faculty was wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. I  work for Barry University in the same program that was my final placement -  AmeriCorps through Barry's Academy for Better Communities.
