Graduate Faculty Positions

NURSING:  Barry University Division of Nursing is seeking experienced nurse practitioners to apply for a full-time faculty position in our Family Nurse and Acute Care nurse practitioner specializations. Barry has dynamic and growing programs of undergraduate, graduate and doctoral nursing education. Our curriculum is community focused with a focal area of multicultural health. Our location in a multi-cultural, urban community affords unique opportunities in teaching, practice, and research.  Qualified candidates must have a Master's degree in Nursing, national certification in area of specialization and eligibility for licensure as advanced practice nurse in Florida. An earned doctorate in nursing practice or a related field preferred.  Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications.   Screening process begins November 11, 2008; positions will remain open until filled.  Applications should include curriculum vitae, names and contact information for three professional references, and a cover letter indicating your interests and describing your accomplishments.

Part-Time Clinical Faculty

Seeking part-time clinical faculty in fundamentals, adult health, acute care, obstetrics/pediatrics, and psychiatric nursing. Requirements: MSN, current Florida RN license, post-master's clinical nursing experience, and teaching experience preferred. Salary competitive.
