Earn Credits by Examination

Advanced students may earn credits for the CAT102, IT190, or IT200 courses in the BSIT program by test-out examination. Credit by examination may only be attempted once. A passing score for credit by examination is 80% or higher. If a student fails a credit by exam, s/he must register and complete the respective course. The test-out exam credits are counted as part of the allowable transfer credits in the student’s major coursework.

NOTE: Students NOT choosing to do a specialization ARE REQUIRED to submit an Experiential Learning Portfolio in order to satisfy the degree requirements.
