Performing Arts: Life Behind the Scenes

Experience first hand the vibrant creative world of the fabulous new Carnival Center for the Performing Arts, in Miami, one of the world's most culturally diverse and exciting cities. Go behind the scenes to interact with nationally and internationally renowned artists, musicians, dancers, actors, and administrators of Miami's finest arts organizations. See what it takes to prepare an orchestra for performance, and learn what Pavarotti must have in his dressing room. As a very special highlight, attend two performances (TBA). Explore the fascinating city to enjoy museum excursions. Don't miss this unique opportunity to go "backstage" and see where it all begins.

The new Carnival Center for the Performing Arts will be a principal venue for four resident companies -- Concert Association of Florida, Florida Grand Opera, Miami City Ballet and New World Symphony -- as well as numerous special attractions.
