Eva Nowakowski has recently joined the School of Social Work as the Director of the Palm Beach/Treasure Coast MSW Program.  Dr. Nowakowski is a proud graduate of Barry University and for the past several years has served as an adjunct instructor with Barry University and Florida Atlantic University teaching in the research and human behavior sequences.  In addition to her Ph.D. and MSW from Barry University, she has a Masters in Public Health from the University of South Florida and a BS in Psychology from the University of Florida.  She is a licensed clinical social worker and a certified family life educator. A resident of the Palm Beach County, Dr. Nowakowski has strong personal and professional ties to the community.  She is currently Board President for the Palm Beach County Coalition for Children and an active member of the Child Advocacy Board of Palm Beach County.  Her professional and research interests include youth violence, program and practice evaluation, and community health. She consults throughout the professional community in the areas of research design and program evaluation.
