What Can You do With a Bachelor's in Theology?

A bachelor’s in theology will enable you to engage in the ongoing search for meaning and truth by acquiring a foundation in Christian thought and practice. Through your encounter with biblical, historical, comparative, systematic, liturgical, moral, and spiritual theology, you will be better able to interpret the historical and contemporary world, examine human experience, and discern God’s action and plan for creation.

Barry’s major in theology is designed to prepare you for:

  • graduate study in theology or other professional education
  • teaching in Catholic and other private secondary schools
  • work in Catholic social service agencies
  • any career that requires analytical, interpretive thought
