Stephen Bevans Meets with D.Min. Students

Stephen Bevans, SVD, author of Models of Contextual Theology (Orbis Books), is at the forefront of developing models that illuminate the various meanings of contextualization in practical theology, based on the interaction of the Gospel message and culture. Bevans spent a day with D.Min. students, answered questions about practical theological methods and gave encouragement to the students and degree candidates. He counseled them to “choose a project that is doable, and persevere.”
