Dr. Miguel Diaz |
The Department welcomes Miguel Diaz, Ph.D., as Associate Professor specializing in Systematic Theology. He will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the MA and D.Min. programs.
Diaz most recently served as Academic Dean at St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary (Boynton Beach, Florida). He earned the PhD in Theology from the University of Notre Dame. Diaz was elected to the Steering Committee of ATS Deans (2001-2003) and is a member of CAOS (Chief Academic Officers Society of the US and Canada), ACHTUS' (Academy of Catholic Hispanic Theologians in the United States) Board, and the CTSA (Catholic Theological Society of America. He wrote On Being Human: U.S. Hispanic and Rahnerian Perspectives (Orbis Books 2001), named Best Book of the Year at Princeton Theological Seminary, and co-edited From the Heart of Our People: Explorations in Systematic Theology (Orbis, 1999). |
