Congratulations to alumnus
Dr. James Dugard (D.Min., 1999) and graduate student Larry
Goodall (D.Min. program) on being named department chairs
at Christopher Columbus and Archbishop Curley high schools in Miami-Dade
County. Both have served as adjunct instructors in Theology at Barry.
Other alumni of our programs can be found all
over the country: Sister Hilda Mateo
(MA, 2000) is Director of Hispanic Ministry for the Pueblo, Colorado
Diocese; Holly Ostlund (MA, 2002)
has completed a year's study for ordination at Southwest Seminary
in Austin, Texas; and Fr. Edmund Ogbonna
(D.Min., 1999) is pastor of a Fargo, North Dakota church. Closer
to home, Pete Suarez (MA, 2001)
is host of two radio programs; Dr. Mary
Teresa Morgan (D.Min., 2001) has joined the faculty at St.
John Vianney Seminary; Dr. Josefina Chirino
(D.Min., 2001) continues as Chair of the Theology Department at
Belen Preparatory School; and even closer, Dr.
Len Sperry (D.Min., 2001) is Director of the PhD program
in Counseling in Barry's School of Education.
