Liberal Arts Education
Barry University emphasizes the significance of liberal arts and incorporates liberal arts courses in each student's track while they’re enrolled in school. The courses provide students with the vast skills they need in order to successfully complete requirements within their majors. Students will learn writing, math, computer, and critical thinking skills. In addition to those skills, students will be able to give good presentations and work well in team or group exercises. The Barry mission seeks to enhance a student’s experience and education by enforcing liberal arts as the core curriculum of undergraduate education. Once students receive their degree, employers will seek out students that will be able to present skills that are obtained through initial coursework at the undergraduate level.
