Seema Pissaris, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor of Management

Teaching Philosophy

I am delighted and privileged to dedicate myself to higher education and my passion for lifelong learning.  As an educator I try to cultivate among my students a similar passion for knowledge and learning, but also a commitment to use their knowledge in an ethical manner.  Hence, my goal as an educator is to develop ethical literacy, and graduates who can reason morally, who see the world through the lens of ethics, and have the courage to make tough choices as they take on the role of leaders and responsible citizens.

Dr. Pissaris received her BA, from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada and her MBA and PhD degrees from Florida Atlantic University.
