Men's Tennis Hosts No. 2 Auburn Montgomery Thursday

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University men's tennis team will host Auburn Montgomery Thursday in the first of three matches over the next four days at Buccaneer Tennis Center.

Ranked No. 4 in NCAA Division II, the Buccaneers (11-0) square off with Auburn Montgomery, NAIA's No. 2-ranked team, at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Bucs will also play Division II No. 37 Northwood (Mich.) at 3 p.m. Friday and DII No. 10 Oklahoma Christian at noon Sunday.

Free hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided to all fans for Sunday's noon match.

The Buccaneers are coming off a pair of wins over Division I schools Pennsylvania and Georgetown last week at home. Barry is 56-10 in singles matches this year, which includes a 5-4 record against nationally-ranked opponents. The Bucs are 26-7 in doubles matches with a 1-1 mark against ranked duos.

Barry is in the midst of a seven-match homestand at Buccaneer Tennis Center.
