MIAMI SHORES, Fla.-- Starting Thursday, October 3rd, Barry University is celebrating Rivalry Week sponsored by the U.S. Marines. To celebrate the beginning of rivalry week, Barry will be hosting a pep rally at Landon Courtyard from 9-11 p.m. The pep rally will include a chance to meet the volleyball team, men’s and women’s Soccer teams, food provided by the Barry University Alumni Association, and a CAR SMASH. The car smash, a tradition held at many colleges and universities, helps to rally fan support for their teams before big games. Students will get a chance to show their Buccaneer pride by slamming a sledge hammer into a junkyard car that represents archrivals Lynn and Nova Southeastern, all in good fun of course.

In addition to the pep rally, students can show their school pride at the multiple sporting events Barry will be competing in against NSU and Lynn during the week, so come out and support your Bucs.
