Credits for Military & Prior Learning

As a service member, credits earned through the assessment of prior college-level learning and national testing programs can help you complete your undergraduate degree even sooner.

Each of the branches of military service has developed methods for documenting military training that the American Council in Education has evaluated for college credit.  For information about obtaining your military transcript, follow the links below.

Acceptance of credit by any institution is at the discretion of the receiving institution.  It is the student’s responsibility to obtain necessary documentation for credits to be considered for transfer.

All official transcripts from Military and regionally accredited institutions should be mailed to the Office of Admissions once the Admissions application has been submitted.    Contact your professional advisor in your community for assistance with the application process or with questions regarding transfer credits.  Your professional advisor is available to you as your educational partner.
