2 + 2 Students

The 2 + 2 program is designed for students who have earned an associate's degree from a Florida Community College and wish to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Education at Barry University. Degrees are offered in Elementary Education (Grades 1-6), Early Childhood (Age 3-Grade 3), and Exceptional Student Education (ESE) (Grades 1-12).

Barry's 2+2 program follows a cohort model, with all required classes offered in 4 continuous semesters (excluding summers). This enables students to complete the entire program in just two years, including field experience. You'll be a member of a cohort with 12-20 other students, who will work with you, bond with you, and become your friends and colleagues in the teaching profession.

The 2+2 program classes are held at convenient locations, often right on the campus of the community college. Click here for program degrees, locations, and times.

For more information, contact our 2+2 Admissions Counselors, Magda Castineyra, at 305-899-3045 or mcastineyra@mail.barry.edu and Karen Fisher at 305-899-3165 or kfisher@mail.barry.edu.
