| How to Apply
for Financial Aid
There are several steps
you must take when applying for financial aid. Apply as early as
possible and follow the steps outlined below. Feel free to contact
the Financial Aid Office if you have any questions.
1. Apply for admission to Barry University.
2. Complete the Free Application for
Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible. Be sure to list
Barry University as one of the universities to receive the results
of your FAFSA. The Institution Code for
Barry is 001466. You can file
the application online.
3. If you are a permanent resident of Florida,
submit the application for the Florida Resident Access Grant (FRAG) to the Financial Aid Office no later than the first day of the semester
for which the grant is requested.
Some applicants may be selected for verification
based on Federal Department of Education guidelines. Selected applicants
will be requested to submit income tax returns, verification worksheets,
and other supporting documentation. Submit these items only if requested
by the Financial Aid Office.
If you are not a U.S. citizen or national,
you may be required to submit a copy of your Alien Registration
