Graduation Requirements

Students must complete 21 credit hours for the minor and 18 credit hours for the certificate program. Subjects include, but are not limited to, courses offered though the Departments of Sociology and Criminology, History and Political Science, English and Foreign Languages, Psychology, and Fine Arts. Any courses that may substitute must be approved (in writing) by the current director of the Africana Studies program.
