One of the most important and rewarding activities of the Barry University Alumni Association is awarding scholarships to deserving students through the Alumni Association Scholarship Program.
We are pleased to continue with this tradition for the thirty-third year.
The Alumni Association offers two types of awards:
- FAB -Future Alumni of Barry Scholarship:
The purpose of the FAB scholarship is to cultivate future alumni leaders who demonstrate a sense of enthusiastic commitment to the Alumni Association by recognizing their time dedicated to our various programs and their potential for leadership. This scholarship is open to all full-time students that meet the qualifications set forth by the Scholarship Committee. Membership in FAB-Future Alumni of Barry is required to be considered for this award.
- Sr. Dorothy Browne Legacy Scholarship:
The Sr. Dorothy Browne Legacy Scholarship exists to cultivate future alumni leaders that wish to continue the Barry tradition in their family. This scholarship is open to all full-time, legacy students that meet the qualifications set forth by the Scholarship Committee. |
The scholarship program is made possible through the collective efforts of students, alumni and friends of Barry University. Funding for the program comes from FAB-Future Alumni of Barry membership dues and the Barry University Alumni Association License Plate Program.
