Barry University’s College of Arts and Sciences presents Career Night: “Breaking into Network Television” with Tim McNeal, vice president of talent development and diversity with the Disney | ABC Television Group.

He will discuss the craft of breaking into network television, including television writing, the pilot season, and the Disney | ABC Writing Program.

About the Speaker

Tim McNeal is vice president of talent development and diversity for Disney | ABC Television Group. In his role, he serves as a liaison between DATG and diversity-related organizations, nonprofit arts institutions, entertainment industry guilds, and colleges and universities nationwide to identify and nurture talented, emerging writers, actors, and directors.

Mr. McNeal oversees DATG’s talent development programs, including The Walt Disney Studios and Disney | ABC Writing Program, the Disney | ABC DGA Directing Program, and the Television & Film Summer Workshop at the Institute of American Indian Arts, among many others. He is also responsible for further expanding the scope of these programs across DATG to include Disney Channel and ABC Family.
