DAA nomination

DAA honoreesOn February 8, almost 250 friends and members of the Barry community came together at the Coral Gables Country Club to honor eight distinguished alumni for the significant impact made in their community through their service and career achievements. The event, which was hosted by Emmy Award-winning journalist Teresa Rodríguez ’79, featured moving testimonials from honorees and current students about the impact of their Barry experiences and how the Barry core commitments of Knowledge and Truth, Inclusive Community, Social Justice, and Collaborative Service are alive in everything that they do.

We now need your help in identifying other deserving alumni to be recognized in 2019. If you know a Barry graduate who has made significant contributions to his or her profession and community, and who consistently demonstrates the core commitments, please submit a nomination by Wednesday, May 16, 2018.
