Alumni Association Partners with Northwestern Mutual

Barry University and Northwestern Mutual are pleased to announce the formation of a partnership focused on supporting and building several campus programs and initiatives for the benefit of students, alumni, faculty and staff. The centerpiece of the partnership is a series of financial literacy workshops geared toward educating individuals about managing their money and building a financial plan.
Additional program elements include Northwestern Mutual’s support of on-campus events including student orientations, “Senioritis” series, “Dinner for 10 Bucs,” career fairs and several traditional events such as the Barry Special Christmas, Distinguished Alumni Awards, Barry Goes to Broadway and Founder’s Ball.
Alumni will also be served under the partnership via financial literacy presentations, sponsorship of key Alumni Association events and the Barry Social Club. Faculty and staff will also benefit from financial literacy workshops and Northwestern Mutual support of Alumni House receptions and Barry Pride Day.
“We are delighted to support Barry University in this way,” said Jason Auricchio, Financial Representative, Northwestern Mutual. “Northwestern Mutual has an enduring legacy of contributing to the communities in which we do business. We have found an excellent partner in Barry University as their history of academic excellence and community involvement has served not only the local community well but those communities across the country who benefit from the instruction and the world perspective that the students gain during their time at Barry.”
