Please join the Barry University community, along with seven other South Florida universities, local high schools, and community groups for the Fourth Annual College Brides Walk to raise awareness about domestic and dating violence.

Sign-in begins at 9:30 am, followed by workshops on human rights issues, testimonies from survivors of domestic violence, as well as a 6-mile walk to show the surrounding community our support to end domestic violence issues.
Speakers at the College Brides Walk include survivors of domestic violence and North Miami Mayor Lucie Tondreau. Women of Tomorrow mentees from local high schools will also take part in the walk.
If you are unable to walk, but would still like to participate, there will be a film screening in Andreas 112 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.
This event is free and open to all, so please invite whoever you feel would like to join this cause. Interested persons can register at www.collegebrideswalk.com . Participants are encouraged, but not required, to wear formal gear such as wedding dresses or black suits. Lunch and dinner will be served as well.
