Barry University President Sister Linda Bevilacqua, executive administrators and emergency personnel meet daily to assess conditions.

As of today, Thursday, Sept. 14, our main campus in Miami Shores, the Orlando Law School campus and all other University locations remain closed. 

Extensive cleanup and repairs continue to be made throughout the main campus, along with continuous assessment of University facilities. Only Emergency Management, Public Safety, Information Technology, and Facilities Personnel are permitted on the Miami Shores campus and the Orlando campus. University IDs will be required for access.

The University will resume classes on Tuesday, Sept. 19, at 8 a.m. on the main campus in Miami Shores and the Law School campus in Orlando. Students registered at other Barry University locations/sites should refer to www.barry.edu/prepare/ after 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15, for an update on site reopening.

There will be no classes at the Freeport or Nassau, Bahamas, locations this weekend (Sept. 16 & 17)  

Barry University Residence halls at the Miami Shores campus will reopen for resident students only at noon on Saturday, Sept. 16. Additional information for resident students only will come from the Director of Housing and Residence Life.

Faculty and Staff may access offices on Monday, Sept. 18, at the main campus in Miami Shores and the Law School campus. University IDs will be required for access.  

All other students may return to campus for class and University services on Tuesday, Sept. 19.
