A message from the College of Nursing and Health Sciences

Barry University will host a Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accreditation site visit on March 30, 2015 to April 1, 2015. This visit is part of the process for seeking initial professional accreditation for the Doctor of Nursing Practice Programs.

Prior to the accreditation visit, the program’s communities of interest (e.g., students, alumni, faculty, employers, etc.) have the opportunity to provide written input into the deliberations of the evaluation team. CCNE shares third-party comments only with members of the evaluation team. The evaluation team only considers third-party comments that relate to the program's compliance with the accreditation standards. Written and signed third-party comments related to the program’s compliance with the accreditation standards will be accepted by CCNE until February 28, 2015.
