Biology

  • Biology
    Preparation for graduate study; medical, dental, veterinary, or podiatric school, among others; research and government careers.
  • Biotechnology
    Work in gene therapy or develop new tests and drugs to diagnose and treat disease with this specialization.
  • Marine Biology
    Prepare for a career focused on the marine environment. Unique South Florida opportunities for study and observation include Everglades and living reef.
  • Pre-dental
    Prepare for acceptance into dental school. Curriculum offers histology and embryology, prerequisites for many dental programs. Graduates have a first-time acceptance rate of 100%.
  • Pre-med
    Prepare for admission to medical school through this highly competitive and structured program. Graduates have a first-time acceptance rate of over 90%.
  • Pre-optometry
    Bachelor of Science in Biology, Pre-Professional Program provides you with the opportunity to prepare for a number of career goals, including optometry.
  • Pre-pharmacy
    Bachelor of Science in Biology, Pre-Professional Program provides you with the opportunity to prepare for a number of career goals, including pharmacy.
  • Pre-physical Therapy
    Program is designed specifically for Physical Therapy Assistants who wish to complete a bachelor's degree and go on to the master’s. Goal of Physical Therapist is to foster optimal health and functional abilities for people with specific dysfunctions.
  • Pre-physician Assistant
    Prepare for entrance into a physician assistant program at the graduate level. Physician assistants are board certified and licensed health care professionals who participate in the process of clinical decision making, diagnosis, and therapeutic management.
  • Pre-podiatry
    Bachelor of Science in Biology, Pre-Professional Program provides you with the opportunity to prepare for a number of career goals, including podiatry.
  • Pre-veterinary
    Prepare to apply to veterinary schools. Specialized courses such as animal behavior and parasitology are offered. Graduates have a first-time acceptance rate of over 85%.
