Nicci Hays—Head Coach
Thoughts on the game:
We knew it was going to be a battle. It was just a matter of who was
going to score more points. We knew who we had to contain and it just got
away from us on the fouling. We just couldn’t get a stop. We battled and
never gave up it was a battle to the end.
Three point shooting for Barry:
We live and die by it. It has one a lot of games for us this year,
but tonight they weren’t falling. You take that chance.
Nicole Denmon—G, Junior
On Shooting:
You never really know if you are going to have a good shooting night.
We were excited as a team to come out and win. We were focused on try to
get the job done.
Yashica Nesbit—G, Senior
Last game and her career:
I made it. It was hard, but you never want it to end. It was great
I wouldn’t change anything about it except for the lost.

Game Summary:
The first half our team came out aggressively. They did what we wanted
them to do, which is penetrate and really be aggressively offensively and
make Barry have to play us defensively. Shooting 71 percent from the free
throw line on the season as a team we want our kid shooting free throws.
I think our kids did a great job of that.
Starting 1-7:
We struggled at the beginning of the season. I think our kids have
come together and persevered through the adversity we faced.
Andrea Martin—G, Junior
On playing 40 minutes:
It’s (day off tomorrow) going to be nice. A few of us play a lot of
minutes and we’re use to it now.
Missy Guadagnino—G, Junior
On 3 point shot to extend the lead:
I didn’t know how close the game was because I was so focused on calming
the team down and being able to run the team’s offense.
