PL -- outside hitter, most versatile player…basically all tourney teams. Following year we had a setter that left and she stepped in as setter. She's a sponge, able to become one of our key players

CM -- don't know if I have a style. Coming in as a setter. Only set a few times before hand in hs. I needed to be a sponge. It's a challenge for me and I love challenges.

And in the room right now this year we came prepare, new style… I'm not going to share my cards right now?
this year we put all our efforts in…. we changed the whole view…I hope you'll enjoy

PL - I think we are (playing at peak). We played all conference championship without Anna; --- she's fully healthy right now.

PL -- International players…most opportune moment yell out something in their tongue and we have no idea…

AB-- of course is a big variety having people of different cultures…this year we realized we have to be patient with each other and love each other…next few days we'll be facing the biggest challenge…

AB -- we have to communicate and we have to…as you know and read and from ….
It’s a great experience….

PL -- really embrace each other cultures, background, its really good we are able to come and do it.

QW -- we are watching Queens tomorrow. I think they have strong desire to win.

LD - I don't know if I feel pressure so much as anxious to get the game started
JS -- don't feel any pressure -- what happens, happens

LD -- anticipation, pretty confident in our ability to come out and play tomorrow.

JS -- Having a lot of fun, its' a great experience.

JS -- It's important to learn from the past…when we lost. Do your best and play hard, learn and it's a whole different game when post season starts.

LD -- Having been here, we do have a little experience with that. It's going to be a great experience for the younger girls.

QW -- we do have a strong leadership all four seniors contribute on the court.

KC -- We've had some great battle with San Diego in the last year. This time I really didn't know if we had enough in every position. They are really good. We're good enough physically and we played so hard and with so much determination

KC -- It would help us a lot if we had those seniors back. It also helps that having gone through the regional tournament, they kind of know what to expect….our kids have been gently nudge all year in this direction.

KC -- I've had the opp to see a couple of matches on tape…think similar to us…it's going to be an interesting match….our kids have been through enough that we know how to fight now. Hopefully we are prepare

CT -- be competitive in practive, talk positive…

KC -- they were static as they should be…stayed up all night…like I said from day one, they've had the eel on the prize. It became more exciting tog e that win we took off a day. You can't give them experience, you can

KC - she was just a puppy dog…nice down to earth nicest kid you'll eve meet. She was able to score…our other kids, we adjusted our line…she stepped up like a champ…in the middle of game three. She scores the last three kills of the match out of the back row. She was having a special night…the team stepped up to it.

RS -- we have a pretty experienced team… return all our starters done a great job on the off season. Pretty well rounded, able to attack from all positions. Pretty good depth.

RS -- EA became all time career killer. EG not to far behind her is letting EA enjoy the record for a while. Really capable of controlling the net. We have good athletes in other positions. We haven't had any low stretches hitting below 200.

RS -- we have a very unique volleyball situation. a lot of regional interest. community I do well for me to behind the program for many years. the regional was exclamation point on our season . helped us push our way to regional championship. we like to play at home, but …took a trip to Hawaii to

EA -- one of those things where we would settle for anything else. coach was good telling us to keep playing hard…it motivated us more

EG -- kept a cool head. played our game, let the rankings slide didn't take it to our head.

EG -- I have to credit our defense. I could do it without them. I have slide attack…jump better off the one leg…I see a little bit more of the court than others.

RS -- We know they have on e of the best outside hitters. It draws your attention. They have an excellent one-two punch. They're very athletic. As steep a challenge as we've seen all year. On film, they look a quality opponent… For the first round match it'll be a tough task for us.

EG -- The second game…didn't play our best, but played really good toward end of game….did my best to keep ball on play…encourage the team…

EG -- I’m going to try to stay relax…try out to stay calm and do what I do best and try to help the team.

JB - in combo with tough season schedule, it's help us become battle tested…just mentally the kids are ready. found ways to win tough matches t\is year.

JB - We were the one seat in our region. Schedule prepared us for that battle. Kind of in that road mentality play a tournament every weekend….

GI -- excited to be here.

CZ -- cool to be here our senior year. Fact that we are the first team out of our school it feels awesome.

JB - We knew she was going to be an impact player. A dynamic athlete. really strong. She's got potential to be the best player in our program history. One of the reasons we are where we are, it's having more balance.

JB -- We open the season up in NM. First match. Didn't play well. We had a different line up. W are familiar with them.
We're certainly not complaining.

GI -- I don't feel pressure as much as last weekend. When we are having fun we play awesome.

JM -- You can't get setters that are big and mobile… you'll have all this tall people that can't move laterally.. I did the opposite. we have tall people on the pins and short in the center…it appears to be a slower tempo offense…Jennie is not necessarily the top person…

AD - No problem with it. I was passing out of the middle. the only tough part I was the last call.

JL -- I didn't have a change I play in the right side….it actually is very good for our team.

AD -- I pretty much what I mean. I go out and look to hurt somebody. I'm not friends with the other team.

JM - they've had to really adapt. She was third all time in assist. It's been a big adjustment for Jennie. The one thing I'm very appreciate is that they have accepted the rule changes and …

JM - It's hard because it's personal and emotional. This feels like it's my program. It is. The one thing that was instant for us that I’m grateful for.. when I walked through the door…they said whatever you say we'll do.

JL -- We have a good addition….

AD -- He came in and he obviously knew what he's doing. We had a high expectation and we’ve met that expectation.

JM -- I think the momentum is important . I don't know…if you' had said grand valley…
We struggled…we had to run a five one because we ran out of hitters. four people on crutches… freak accidents. We made this statement…two weeks after Jennie broke her leg. All you had to do was to get there. And it happened. As long as we got there we knew we were struggling.

JM -- It helps and it hurts. It helps because we know them. It hurts because they are saying there is no way they’re are going to beat us twice.

JM -- It was a lot faster to get here that it was the first time. A lot of difference in 10 yeas. I believe we have the volley facility in the country. Nobody gets to be there. Beautiful. I designed that whole thing and never enjoyed. It's a wonderful place to be . Community supports it. It's amazing to have people to pay money every night to see you play.

TJ -- It's tough Barry is a great team. playing at home expect a difficult battle. looking forward to it.

TJ - it's gives me good deal of satisfaction. main thing is my players to have this kind of experience.

LB -- Actually I don't know them. saw one of the girls. Sao Paulo is a big city.

TJ -- we' taken the tape Barry sent us. different things in practice….there are things that will helps us . Barry very impressive team… difficult challenge to face them in the first round no team is unbeatable.

TJ -- there are some things that could be better but I think….record going though conference we beat those teams three zero. …

TJ -- we worked a lot on blocking we have good athletes. Something we spend a lot of time on. The compliments to go our athletes that execute… the will to execute the plan… great job blocking this year. every body on our team contributes… to blocking.

DN -- we like being home. had a great home feel this whole season with the new building. A fun environment…positive and negatives. we're taking the attitude that is all positive.

DN -- Going back to UC San Diego, on the strongest regionals… in terms of lock haven…anybody who gets here has earn it. they know what to expect. expecting them to play a great game. I like the match up. We're hoping that aggressive serving will prevent them…

ML -- its exciting thrilled to be here and play at home. no one has been to NCAA tourney.

KB -- great feeling our friends can come to watch us

DN -- I try to prepare in a generic way in the season…in the post season……change quickly. We feel that were going in there we a good idea of what we need to do.

DN -- great fortunes is that great side players …Kelly Dantas' success is as much …it's a big six. emphasis on the outside hitters. I equate them to basketball…

ML -- this is it. I'm thrilled. I probably won't go on after this. A chance to show people how good I can be.

KB - play my game and make sure I do my best….hopefully one more time.

DN - It helped (two week lay off) It was great. Got rid of nicks and bruises. When we came back after thanksgiving kids still sharp.. I think our best match is still out there.

DN - This year (lock haven) relying on fabulous middle… they play calm…very together. a reflection of Tom…very stable. They won't give you anything, you'll have to go and earn it.
