| Alumni Reunion Weekend 2007
It’s NEW, it’s FUN and there are a number of FIRSTS! Come back and join us at the Barry University Miami Shores Campus for the 2007 Alumni Reunion Weekend, February 23-25, 2007.
If you have never visited the Barry, Miami Shores campus, make this your first time as we initiate a number of new traditions!
There will be the First Annual Alumni Triathlon, and our first Dinner & Dancing Under the Stars – A Special Tribute. Reunion activities will offer a diverse menu including educational workshops, campus tours, a viewing of the Fine Arts Graphic Design Exhibition, Tailgate Party to root for our Barry Men & Women’s Basketball teams, and special anniversary receptions for the 5th, 10th, 25th, and 50th graduation classes. Come help us celebrate a special tribute, honoring the 50th anniversary of the first Nursing graduating class!
Reunite with old friends, and make new ones as Alumni Reunion Weekend takes you through a rollercoaster of memories!

Come, network and re-introduce yourself to your fellow classmates. (open bar & hor’deurves will be available) |

Kids College– Kids College is designed for children ages 5-10. The curriculum involves a variety of hands-on activities to promote critical thinking strategies, communication skills, music appreciation and visual art concepts. |

Alumni Association Board Meeting in the Kostka Room of Thompson Hall. All alumni are invited to attend and observe their alumni board at work. Breakfast will be available to all attending. |

The First Annual Alumni Triathlon. You do not have to be an all-star to participate and have fun as the three events will include “something physical, something musical, and something esthetic” and will pit school against school. Find out which school will hold the bragging rights till next year! |

Golf Cart Parade– This annual event keeps on getting better as the students, faculty and staff get their crazy ideas off the ground and into action designing Golf Carts for a parade to rival Macy’s! |

“Dinner & Dancing under the Stars– A Special Tribute” Honoring the 50th anniversary of the first graduating class from the School of Nursing. Also, as we begin the tradition of honoring every 5th year graduation, we welcome back the Classes of 2002, 1997, 1982 and 1957 or the 5th, 10th, 25th, and 50th graduating classes. Come and enjoy fine dining and a live band that will get your fingers snapping and feet tapping with music from ballroom to rock to salsa! |
