• Nick Corbeil and Orestes Gonzalez were named first-team All-SSC
• Jayson Brown was second-team All-SSC
• Cesar Aranguren and Andrew Frezza earned second-team CoSIDA Academic All-District
• Gonzalez was a 1st-team All-South Region pick at infielder by the ABCA; Corbeil and Brown were 2nd-team All-Region ABCA
• Corbeil also took 2nd-team All-South Region from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association
• Corbeil, catcher, was an honorable mention All-America pick by the NCBWA
• Team hit .323 to set a school record for batting
• Aranguren and Alex Meneses combined to break eight school career records, including walks and runs (Meneses) and hits, RBI, total bases and games played (Aranguren)
• Alex Meneses was the third Buccaneer in the last four years selected in Major League Baseball’s Rule 4 draft, going in the 35th round to the Seattle Mariners (Joey Apotheker—33rd round, Marlins--2003 and Ricky Sanchez—31st round, Red Sox--2005).
