Jennifer Faccone, who attended Barry from 1988-1992, was a standout on the University's first-ever National Championship team of 1989. Faccone scored 8 goals and had 5 assists as she earned All-American, All-Region, and NCAA All-Tournament Team honors in 1988. Faccone was an excellent student, and was selected as an Academic All-American in 1989, 1990, and 1991.

On the Barry all-time scoring list, Faccone ranks 4th in assists (17), 6th in goals (20), 6th in game-winning goals (5), and 7th in total points (57). An impressive footnote to her career is the fact that Faccone started all 66 games in which she played.

Faccone was also a member of the 1989 U.S. Olympic Festival Gold Medal Team.
