MS Educational Computing and Technology, 1996

Stephanie Stallings Walker was the first dual-sport, dual scholarship athlete in Barry history. She earned four letters in soccer, earning All-State honors three times, and was named to the ISAA National Senior Recognition team. She was a two-time National Sports Festival participant (winning gold in 1985). During her Buccaneer softball career, she was a two-time All-South selection and a pre-season All-American in 1989. Stephanie is still ranked in the top five in several Barry softball career categories. The 1986 and 1987 Barry Female Athlete-of-the-Year, Stephanie is one of the few collegiate athletes to start in two different NCAA national championship tournaments in the same year. She was a member of the 7th place women's soccer team in 1987 and the softball team that was 12th in NCAA Division II in the spring of 1988. Highly active in the community, Stephanie is the director of computer services for Barry Student Services. She helped run the Punt, Pass, and Kick competition at the NFL Experience during Super Bowl XXIX in Miami and is the president of the Broward Women's Soccer League, the largest affiliated league in Florida.
