Wall of Honor Inductee - 2004

Stephanie Caldwell
Women’s Softball
BS, Pre-Med / Biology, 2000

Stephanie Caldwell was one of the top pitchers in Barry history. She ranks in the top two in wins with 77, innings pitched with 690.0 and strikeouts with 620. However, she was also a tremendous hitter, ranking in the top two in hits with 204, RBI with 119, and doubles with 43 as she excelled in both disciplines.

Another player who was quick out of the box, she was named Sunshine State Conference Freshman of the Year as a rookie in 1997. In 1998 and 1999, she claimed SSC Player of the Year honors.

Her 1998 season was perhaps the best in school history. She set records by hitting .472, with 112 total bases and a .696 slugging percentage. She also went 19-10 from the pitching circle with four saves and 145 strikeouts as she led the Bucs to the title game of the NCAA Division II National Tournament. She earned NFCA All-America honors for her efforts.

A tremendous student as well, she was named to the NFCA Scholar All-America team as a senior.
