Listen to head coach Steve McCrath talk about the game

“I'm very dissappointed,” Barry head coach Steve McCrath said about the game. “We had plenty of opportunities, and we couldn’t finish. We really didn’t even get close. If we want to get to that next level, the playoffs, we have to find a way to be effective. I'm just not pleased at all with today's preformance.”
In a defensive slugfest with only a combined 10 shots on goal, the backfield of both sides was too strong to break. The Bucs took 16 total shots and Flagler took 14.
Barry sophomore Mark Anderson led the team in shots with four followed by a slew of players with two. Buccaneer freshman goalkeeper Jonny Rodrigues played all 110 minutes, and posted his first-career shutout with six saves.
After playing Lander on Friday and Flagler on Sunday the Bucs head south back to Miami Shores with a 1-0-1 record for the trip. The next action for Barry is Friday against Christian Brothers in Boca Raton, Fla. at 1 p.m.
