NORMAN, Okla. – Sophomore men’s golfer Victor Billskoog was named to the 2008 Division II Ping/GCAA All-America team as an Honorable Mention selection. He became just the fifth men’s golfer to earn All-America honors in program history.
Billskood led the Buccaneers with a 73.76 stroke average which is the second-best in single-season history. He posted three top-10 finishes this season with nine rounds with a par or better score. He currently carries a 74.12 career stroke average which currently leads Barry’s career stroke average leaders.
This season, he was named Second-Team All-SSC and to the Division II Ping/GCAA All-South Region team. Billskoog also finished fifth at the SSC tournament to earn All-Tournament honors.
A total of 28 golfers were named to the honorable mention All-America.
