Men’s Soccer Falls to Rollins

WINTER PARK, Fla.--The Barry Buccaneers fell 5-0 to Rollins at Cahall-Sandspur Field on Saturday.
 
The Tars (5-2-0,  2-0-0 SSC) grabbed an early lead in the eighth minute. Tres Loch passed the ball back to keeper Frazer Siddall who launched a long pass down the middle of the field. Ryan Dodds ran on to the ball, settled it at his feet and blasted a shot past Buccaneer keeper Ido Langer.
 
Jon Gruenewald added to the lead in the 33rd minute. Dennis Chin drove a ball into the midfield and Gruenewald took a one-touch shot from 35 yards for the goal.
 
The second half the Tars added three goals from Dodds, Juan Kusnir and Chris Cerroni.
 
The Bucs (6-3-0, 0-2-0 SSC) were shutout for the first time this season despite holding a 12-11 edge in shots.
 
Ido Langer had three saves for Barry, while Frazer Siddall made three for the Tars.
 
The Bucs travel next Saturday, Oct. 1 to tackle the Tampa Spartans at 6:00 pm at Peppin Field.
