Two Men's Basketball Players Receive All-SSC Honors

ORLANDO, Fla. – Erick Nsangou and Karega Tucker landed their names on the All-Sunshine State Conference list for the 2008-09 season.
 
Nsangou was chosen as the Defensive Player of the Year, while Tucker was named to the All-SSC Second Team.
 
Nsangou played and started in 27 games this season, finishing second on the team in minutes per game (30.3), field goal percentage (.456) and in steals with 25. He also led the team with 72 assists and was third on the team in rebounds (5.5).
 
Tucker played and started in all 28 games, leading the team in minutes per game (31.9) and points per game (14). He also was second on the team in rebounds (5.8) and assists with 60.
 
The Bucs ended their season Wednesday night in the quarterfinal round against Tampa of the BlueCross BlueShield of Florida SSC Championships.
