ARKADELPHIA, Ark.—Amber Jack earned her third straight first-team selection on the Daktronics, Inc., All-South Region Softball Team
The Buccaneer senior went 21-11 with a 1.01 ERA and 259 strikeouts in 236 innings to earn first-team honors for the third straight year. She became the Bucs’ career leader in wins (91), saves (10), shutouts (50), and strikeouts (756) this season. She is the best control pitcher in school history as well, averaging just 0.67 walks per game. Jack will now advance on to the All-America ballot.
Jessica Tabor made a splash as a freshman, leading the team with a .328 average and two home runs and ranking second with 20 RBI out of her designated player slot. She was named to the second-team as a rookie.
