runs and 55 RBI ... Third with a .554 slugging percentage ... His 124 total
bases ranks fifth in school history ... The only player to both drive in
and score over 50 runs.
SOPHOMORE
(2006): Took over the right-field job and led the team with nine outfield
assists ... Only returning player to score and drive in at least 40 runs
... Led the team with four triples, second-highest total in school-history
... Leads all returners with 18 multi-hit games ... Had a 12-game hitting
streak in April ... Went two-for-four with a homer and three RBI to lead
the Bucs over Florida Gulf Coast 11-5 on Apr. 8 ... Knocked in four in
a 12-5 win over Palm Beach Atlantic on Apr. 25 ... One of the toughest
Bucs to fan, averaging a strikeout every 10.1 at bats.
FRESHMAN
(2005): Played in 24 games, earning 16 starts ... Batted .215 with 14 hits,
including two doubles ... Belted 10 RBI and scored eight runs ... Stole
two bases in three chances ... Named to the Comissioner’s
Academic Honor Roll, the Dean’s List, and the Athletic Director’s
Honor Roll.
HIGH
SCHOOL: Earned three baseball letters under coach Doug Ferguson at Jupiter
High ... Batted .380 with eight doubles, 25 runs scored, 15 RBI and 15
stolen bases as a senior ... As a junior, batted .425 with 12 doubles,
30 runs scored and 25 RBI ... Received team’s “Best
Hitter” award as a junior ... Wendy’s High School Heisman Nominee.
